Tutor/Mentor Program

Would you like to tutor students getting their GED or learning to read? Want to meet people from other cultures and help them learn English? It takes just two hours a week! Community members are trained on-site as volunteers through the Commonwealth Literacy Campaign and work one-on-one or in small groups with ESOL or ABE students. Others assist in the administration of our program. Tutors volunteer one day or evening a week.

We are a fully grant-funded 501© 3 nonprofit supported by grants from the Massachusetts Department of Education, the Boston Adult Literacy Fund, the MDC Neighborhood Development Corporation and other corporate and private donations.
