EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
English Classes (ESOL) -- English as a Second Language classes are offered from beginning literacy through intermediate levels.
GED or High School Diploma -- Earn a high school diploma from Boston Public Schools or prepare for the GED exam. We offer day and evening classes.
Basic Skills Instruction -- Classes are offered in reading, writing and math, from literacy through high school levels. Supportive, self-paced classes.
External Diploma Program -- An alternative diploma program for adults, the EDP is a viable option for adults who wish to get a high school diploma. Working toward this aim, the Boston EDP encourages use of the variety of educational and cultural resources within the City of Boston.
Citizenship Classes -- Adults eligible for citizenship will learn information necessary for passing the citizenship test.
Computer Classes -- FREE for all ALP students. Introduction to Word, PowerPoint and the Internet.
