ESOL: English as a Second Language. These classes are for adults whose first language is not English.

ABE: Adult Basic Education. Adult classes in beginning reading, writing and math.

GED: This program prepares students for the GED exam, an alternative high school credential.

EDP: External Degree Program. After course work is completed, students receive a high school diploma.

Citizenship: Adults eligible for citizenship will learn information necessary for passing the citizenship test.

Computer classes: Free for all ALP students. Introduction to Word, PowerPoint, and the Internet.

COST: FREE

Who is Eligible: Low to moderate income adults, (usually) over 21, who live in Boston.
